16 April 2007 - This from Daniel Keebler over at www.brucecockburn.org. Regarding the re-releases coming soon from Rounder: Breakfast In New Orleans, The Charity Of Night and You Pay Your Money And You Take Your Chance, Bernie Finkelstein says, "These are not strictly speaking re-issues with new mastering, bonus tracks etc. Ryko’s rights have run out and we want to keep those records available, so Rounder are now going to be putting them out. Some stores might still have the Ryko copies and that could continue for some time but for stores that need new copies they will now be able to buy them through Rounder, otherwise these very fine recordings just wouldn’t be available to new buyers. There is no reason for people who already have these records to buy them again nor are we trying to get them to buy them again. There will be no changes made to these recordings, including the mastering, which was first class to begin with in my opinion." The release date is currently scheduled for 10 July 2007. Thanks Daniel for asking that inquiring question!
