The first set started with his song about the rainforest. I loved the way he introduced another song with an obscure historical reference to a monk or someone who made reference to the "village idiot". A funny part of the show occurred when some fan shouted out, "Brrrrrrrruce", rolling his 'r'. Ms. Wolf said, "Brrrrrrruce, don't let them down." and the entire band started to play the Beatles' Don't Let Me Down, and it got to a certain point where Bruce didn't know the words, so they launched into the song they had been planning to play. Also, on another song (about a locomotive), Bruce stumbled on the words at one point, and then he rather sheepishly admitted after the song ended that he had been thinking about what songs to play for an upcoming public radio gig.
