BRUCE COCKBURN WITH A TWIST
-- Bone In My Rear --

Index

Rewrite of "Bone In My Ear," by Peter Klausler.

There's a bone in my rear
The coccyx is its name
There's a bone in my rear
Real far from my brain
It's a small bone and useless
In my bottom's domain
There's a bone in my rear
That I cannot explain.

My heart is four-chambered
But this bone's in my ass
Vestigial tail that
Evolution bypassed
I don't like it, 'cause
I can't say why it's there;
It's like the appendix
Or male facial hair.

Whales still have legbones
And remnants of feet
'Cause they used to go dancing
And run in the street.
This gives joy to my friends
Who find Darwin a pain;
There's a bone in my rear
That I cannot explain.
