[Bruce] mentioned he was invited to play at the Union for Canadian Auto Makers and he tried to identify all songs that related to cars and trucks. He spoke of reading Jack Kerouac and being attracted to being on the road... in the early days. "Nowadays it tends to be a lonely place."
[He] had trouble getting the crowd to sing along for Wondering Where The Lions Are.
Bruce chuckled at how history would like to forget the time when President Bush landed on the deck of an aircraft carrier and pronounced "mission accomplished". He told of his trip with friends to Baghdad to see first hand of how people are dealing with the situation. "This song came out of that visit." [He then played This Is Baghdad.]
