SETLIST

COMMENTS/FURTHER INFORMATION

Submitted by Kevin, and Leif Tapanila who adds:

Bruce, along with Gary Craig and Julie Wolf, performed an outstanding set before an appreciative crowd in the reddest of Red States. The venue resembled a hotel conference room, but the upshot was close seating for all and an intimate concert feel. Opting to let the songs speak for themselves, Bruce made only sparing comments between songs, including a nice segue between Dust And Diesel and This Is Baghdad where he noted the similarity of his experiences in visiting 1980s Central America and today’s Iraq.

The trio played a continuous two-hour set, with many standout moments: the rhythmic Jerusalem Poker, the fragile and vulnerable tone of Beautiful Creatures, a manic Wolf solo on Slow Down Fast, an intense new (to me) arrangement on If A Tree Falls, a hypnotic The End Of All Rivers with Craig on bells, the second encore capped by the melodic All The Diamonds.
