Read "The Story of A Guitar" in the News Archive.
Ring music, at 90 Harbord, is a music store that Bruce is known to have frequented (and still may.) The two Flying V style guitars (a blue one and an orange one) he owned in the early 80's were commisioned by Ring Music and built by Imre de Jong, a skilled electric guitar luthier.

Some of Bruce's guitars have been sold through the store, also. Due to its location near the College/Spadina/Kensington area, we might guess that Bruce frequented it more when he lived in this area of the city in the 1980's.

This page is part of The Cockburn Project, a unique website that exists to document the work of Canadian singer-songwriter and musician Bruce Cockburn. The Project archives self-commentary by Cockburn on his songs and music, and supplements this core part of the website with news, tour dates, and other current information.
