  • COMMENTS/FURTHER INFORMATION

Submitted by Pete Conan, and Matt Roesch who writes the following:

The German House is a very interesting venue in Rochester, old looking hall with a neat balcony and a bar downstairs. Catherine came on at 8 and was quite good. Did her set then told us to look forward to Bruce playing "all the hits". Well, he sort of did.

A really good show. Bruce was fighting a sore throat and apologized for it, but he sounded fine for the most part. Very spirited playing. Funny bit at the beginning. A guy came out to tell us to be very quiet while Bruce was playing because of the live taping going on. A guy yells out "Do you REALLY want us to be quiet?" Don't recall exactly what Bruce said, but we weren't very quiet and he seemed to like it that way. Beautiful Creatures was on the setlist but he didn't play it, probably because of the throat. All that falsetto stuff. Oh yeah, Bruce said his favourite part of the show is the incoherent song requests. There was a lot of this going on, kind of annoying. But he's quite tolerant.
