Submitted by Stephen McNamara: A warm sunny afternoon. The stage was set up in front of Fort Adams, a revolutionary war era fort. Breezes blew in from the water. Bruce played a short solo set of popular favourites.
And by Andrew Webster: I'm a big Bruce fan but this was my first time seeing him. I was told he rarely says anything while playing, but he talked quite a bit at this show. He introduced just about every song. Compared with Bob Dylan (who played the night before and didn't say one word in between songs), Bruce was really talkative. He asked everyone to sing along to Wondering Where The Lions Are, "but I'm not going to push it." He introduced All The Ways I Want You as "one for all of you who were waiting to slow dance... 'you mean we got to get up in this heat?'" When people started shouting out song titles, Bruce said "Alas, you know more song titles than I have time onstage."
