    COMMENTS/FURTHER INFORMATION

    Dan Byrne reported:
Just saw Bruce's concert in Salt Lake City. Phenomenal! The crowd was inspirational to Bruce I am sure, and his playing was better than I have ever witnessed. (I have seen many Cockburn concerts.) Audience seemed mesmerized and trance-like. Nothing but appreciation and awe. Absolute quiet from the the old (like me) and the very young. Read a review in the Salt Lake City Tribune and the writer must have been listening to something totally different on his MP3 player! Mentioned something about music needing to appeal to the heart as well as the brain. Well I gotta tell you- "hearts were open" at that concert-very evident by the look on the faces of those surrounding me. Bruce played a mind-shattering guitar solo at the end of the first set (Feast of Fools). Magical night and the only thing that would have made it better for me would have been "And We Dance" which sends waves of goose bumps every time I hear it. To all who participated at the Red Butte Gardens--it was wonderful to see the sophistication and appreciation exhibited there. I am sure it reflected in Bruce's performance. It was a special time for me and my brother (whom I was visiting in SLC) and a repeat at that venue in those beautiful surroundings will not be missed by me. Thank you brother James!
